Happy June all! 👋🏼

A podcast episode with Emma's Yoga Tribe
A podcast episode with Emma’s Yoga Tribe

I’m very excited to share another episode on my podcast! We’re moving away from tech for a bit to re-focus on wellness. Joined by my guest Emma from “Emma’s Yoga Tribe, we talk about her journey of getting into the yoga space, her advice on taking care of yourself during such a strange time especially those who are office workers.

A very important topic to continue coming back to in our world that seems to never switch off these days… I hope that you pick up some useful insights from her!

Why this conversation mattered

When so much of life happens through a screen, it can be difficult to notice where work ends and rest begins. Full-time work asks a lot from our bodies and minds, especially when the default is sitting still, reacting to messages, and trying to keep up with everything at once.

That is why I wanted this episode to focus less on productivity and more on the everyday choices that help us feel human at work. Emma brings a calm, practical perspective from yoga: small moments of movement, breathing, and checking in with yourself can make a real difference when your day feels crowded.

We also talk about the pressure to have a perfect wellness routine. Taking care of yourself does not need to look aesthetic, expensive, or complicated. Sometimes it is stretching between meetings, stepping away from your desk, being honest about your energy, or giving yourself permission to slow down before your body forces you to.

A few reminders from the episode

  • Your body deserves attention during the workday, not only once work is finished.
  • Wellness habits are easier to keep when they fit into the life you already have.
  • Rest is not a reward for doing enough; it is part of being able to keep going.
  • A short pause can still count, especially during seasons that feel strange or heavy.

This episode sits alongside a lot of what I have written about self-care, burnout, and figuring things out as life changes. It is a softer conversation, but an important one.
